The Jumping International de Bordeaux returns from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 February 2027 at the Parc des Expositions de Bordeaux. Four days of show jumping, dressage and driving at the highest level, with an audience that travels in from all over Europe, and sessions that finish after midnight on the Friday and the Saturday. That last detail is precisely what changes everything about planning a visit. Here is the essential information, taken from the official sources.

Which session to choose, depending on what you came to see
The Jumping is split into seven sessions, from Thursday daytime to Sunday daytime, and they do not all offer the same thing. The two big show jumping highlights fall neither on the same day nor at the same time of day:
- Thursday 4 February, evening: equestrian show, with the creation Empreinte listed from 8 PM to 9:45 PM on the official schedule.
- Friday 5 February, daytime: 5-star freestyle dressage to music.
- Friday 5 February, evening: show jumping and the Indoor Derby.
- Saturday 6 February, daytime: 5-star show jumping classes.
- Saturday 6 February, evening: the Grand Prix Coupe du monde FEI Longines, the World Cup session and the headline evening of the week.
- Sunday 7 February, daytime: the Grand Prix Audi, the 5-star class that closes the edition.
Thursday daytime serves as the opening, with the CDI5* dressage Grand Prix listed from 9:30 AM to 12 PM, the Club and Amateur classes, the Championnat des Partenaires, and the World Cup riders warming up in the late afternoon.
The detailed session times for Friday, Saturday and Sunday have not been published yet on the schedule page. The organiser also states that the times released are indicative, fixed as of 3 September 2026, and subject to change. The exact slot for your session will appear on your e-ticket.
Tickets: the prices session by session
Prices are published openly by the organiser, inclusive of tax, and vary a great deal depending on the session and the seating category. Here they are as announced:
| Session | Carré Or | Cat. 1 | Cat. 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thursday daytime | not offered | 29 € | 19 € |
| Thursday evening (show) | 79 € | 59 € | 49 € |
| Friday daytime | 64 € | 44 € | 34 € |
| Friday evening | 89 € | 69 € | 59 € |
| Saturday daytime | 64 € | 44 € | 34 € |
| Saturday evening (World Cup) | 99 € | 79 € | 64 € |
| Sunday daytime (Grand Prix Audi) | 85 € | 65 € | 55 € |
Three savings worth knowing about before you book:
- The seven-session pass, from Thursday daytime to Sunday daytime, is announced at 309 € at the subscriber rate, in category 1 with a reserved seat.
- The daytime plus evening packs: 89 € on the Friday, 109 € on the Saturday.
- The FFE licence holder rate exists, but only on certain sessions: Thursday daytime, Thursday evening in category 2, Friday daytime, Saturday daytime in category 2, and entry to the Salon du Cheval. It comes down to 19 € in category 1 for the Thursday daytime, for example.
For the Salon du Cheval on its own, with no access to the stands, entry is announced at 15 € per day, 9 € at the reduced rate for children aged 6 to 12, licence holders and Carte Jeune holders, and 39 € for a family pass covering two adults and two children. Free for under-6s.
One budget point to watch: the organiser applies 10 € of booking fees, inclusive of tax, on any reservation made by telephone, by post or on site, except for visitors with reduced mobility and for groups. Booking online avoids those fees. And as with any major event, one website alone is authoritative, billetterie.jumping-bordeaux.com: be wary of a price far above this scale on a resale platform.
Getting there: tram, bus, car and parking
The Parc des Expositions sits north of Bordeaux, at Bordeaux-Lac. For the Jumping, here is what the organiser announces:
- By tram: line C towards Parc des Expositions, from Saint-Jean station or from place des Quinconces. You get off at the Parc des Expositions terminus, then walk to gate B and the Hall 1 entrance.
- By bus: lines 37 and 75, Parc des Expositions stop.
- By car: exits 4, 4a and 4b off the ring road, signposted Bordeaux-Lac. Coming from Paris on the A10, the Bordeaux-Lac exit comes just after the pont d’Aquitaine.
- Parking: a free covered car park, with 8,000 spaces announced by the organiser, free for the whole duration of the event.
- Reduced mobility: spaces for visitors with reduced mobility are reserved for each session, along with seats for companions, on request from the event ticket office.
Two useful notes for the day itself. First, only assistance dogs are admitted: pets are not allowed, even on a lead. Second, the organiser labels the tram C destination with the former name of the neighbouring stadium. The commercial name changed in 2025 and it is indeed the same terminus, so if the display on the tram does not say exactly what your ticket says, look no further. If you would rather not deal with the tram at all, our guide to getting around Bordeaux with a private chauffeur covers the alternatives.

The real pinch point: leaving after midnight
Look again at the site opening hours: 12:30 AM on the Friday and the Saturday. Those are the two busiest evenings, including the World Cup Grand Prix. Which is to say that the headline session of the week ends at an hour when the tram network is reaching the end of service, and when several thousand people come out of Hall 1 at the same time, on a February night.
If you are counting on the tram to get back after the Saturday evening, check the time of the last departure from the Parc des Expositions terminus before you book your ticket, on the TBM website. The margin is measured in minutes, not hours, and a prize-giving that runs long is enough to make it disappear. That is exactly the calculation we worked through for France vs Turkey at the Stade Atlantique, a short distance away.
The alternative is a private chauffeur: a pick-up point agreed in advance, away from the flow of people leaving, and a direct run back to your hotel. You queue nowhere, you do not watch the clock during the final round, and you do not cross the car park on foot in the cold. Our guide to a private chauffeur in Bordeaux at night explains how late pick-ups are organised.
On budget, our published rates apply: an urban trip within the Bordeaux area, Bordeaux-Lac included, runs from 20 to 45 € in an SUV depending on the exact distance, with a fixed price given before the trip. For four people, a ride home is shared and works out cheaper than paid parking in the city centre. An immediate trip requested at the last minute, with no booking, between 9 PM and 6 AM, starts at 50 € and depends on availability: on a World Cup night, it is better to have booked. Requests take three fields on our booking page.
Coming from abroad: airport and Saint-Jean station
A World Cup leg draws an international audience, and the Jumping lasts four days: many spectators arrive through Bordeaux-Mérignac airport or Saint-Jean station, with luggage, for several nights.
The organiser announces 15 minutes by car on the ring road between the airport and the Parc des Expositions. From Saint-Jean station the tram C is direct, but it crosses the whole city, and it is not the most pleasant journey with a suitcase at rush hour. If you are landing at Mérignac, our guide to the Bordeaux airport terminals explains which hall you will come out of.
Our airport transfers are 50 € in an SUV between Mérignac airport and Bordeaux city centre or Saint-Jean station, 60 € in a minivan for 5 passengers and 80 € in a van for 8, in both directions. For a flight, we track your arrival in real time and adjust to delays at no extra cost: in February, in Bordeaux, that is not a detail. Trips outside the metropolitan area and towards the Périgord are quoted individually.

Which day should I come for the World Cup Grand Prix?
The Grand Prix Coupe du monde FEI Longines is scheduled for Saturday 6 February in the evening. The Grand Prix Audi, the 5-star closing class, takes place on Sunday 7 February during the day. The precise times for those sessions have not been published yet.
How much does a ticket for the Jumping de Bordeaux cost?
From 19 € in category 2 for the Thursday daytime to 99 € in Carré Or for the Saturday evening. The seven-session pass is announced at 309 €, and the daytime plus evening packs at 89 € on the Friday and 109 € on the Saturday. Entry to the Salon du Cheval on its own costs 15 €.
Do you have to pay for parking at the Parc des Expositions?
No. The organiser announces free covered parking for the whole duration of the event, with 8,000 spaces. So parking is not the issue: leaving after midnight is rather more of one.
How do I get back after the Saturday evening?
The site closes at 12:30 AM, just as the tram reaches the end of service. Check the last departure from the Parc des Expositions terminus before you book, or arrange to be collected by a private chauffeur at a point agreed in advance: from 20 € in an SUV for an urban trip, at a fixed price given before the trip.
Preparing for the Jumping de Bordeaux comes down to two decisions: choosing the right session, because they do not all offer the same thing, and settling the journey home before the day itself, because the finest class of the week ends after midnight. The rest is horses.
